PCDA works for the social, economic, educational and humanitarian upliftment of people, with the goal of building a poverty-free, equal and progressive society. We organise volunteer services at temples, religious events and public gatherings, and run programmes in education, livelihood, health, women's empowerment and environmental protection.

Our Vision

To stand as a leading people's movement that unites everyone beyond caste, religion, language and race, and builds social unity, humanity, volunteer service and sustainable social progress.

Our Mission

To bring social welfare and humanitarian services to people of every background. To coordinate volunteer services at temples, religious events and public gatherings, helping devotees and the general public. To engage youth, women and senior citizens in social service and build their leadership skills. To raise people's quality of life through education, employment, health, entrepreneurship and welfare schemes, working together with government, private organisations and other social bodies.

Temple & Public Event Services

  • Organising volunteers at temple festivals and religious events — orderly guidance, queue management, and assistance for the elderly and differently-abled.

  • Support at national festivals, cultural events and public gatherings — medical aid points, drinking water, food distribution and safety awareness.

  • Volunteer training in discipline, leadership and social responsibility, to develop capable community leaders.

  • Partnering with government departments, temple administrations, and other organisations on welfare schemes and disaster relief.

Leadership

Founder / Chairman: Mr. G. Arumugam — Social activist, spiritual leader, businessman and people's representative.

PCDA is organised through Administrative, District and Union-level teams, with dedicated Youth and Women's Team Coordinators driving grassroots participation.
